What's included?
This course is fully accredited with ABT so you will be able to gain insurance to use your E-file on clients straight away. You will be presented with your certificate on the day.
This course doesn’t include much theory it is mainly practical with demonstrations and practical assessments, we find this approach leaves our students feeling more confident with the E-file at the end of the course.
This course is a half day (up to 4 hours) and you will learn everything you need to know including:
Different drill bits / how and when to use them
Working safely on the natural nail
Seamlessly prepping the nail for product application
Preparing the nails for an infill
Refining product
Sanitising drill bits
You will need to attend your course with either builder gel or nail extensions on (preferably grown out but 1-3 weeks) as you will be working on your own hands. If another student is present you will also work on each other, alternatively, if you decide to bring a model you will work on them.
What you will need to bring:
E-file machine (any brand is fine, we recommend the Willow Academy or Kuku nails)
E-file cuticle kit (any brand is fine, we recommend the Willow Academy ‘The Cuticle Kit’)
E-file debulking and refining bits (any brand is fine, we recommend the Willow Academy ‘The Original Kit’)
To save yourself money Willow Academy make a kit called ‘Ultimate E-File Course Kit Bundle’ which includes absolutely everything you will ever need.
We provide a selection of hot and cold drinks but you are encouraged to bring a snack and a bottle of water.
Pre- requisites:
You must hold a basic manicure and gel polish qualification or equivalent in order to take our perfect prep and builder gel course.
Important notes:
Courses are run with up to two students present on the day, you will work on your own hands and on each other. If only one student attends on the day you will work on your own hands, you’re also welcome to bring a model with you if you’d like.
All equipment will be provided on the day, you will also take home a list of products we recommend for beginners.
A £100 deposit is required to secure your place, the rest is due to be paid at your course.
